Bijbehara area of southern Kashmir’s Islamabad district on Thursday to pay tributes to three local militants who were killed on this day in 2015.
Three Hizb militants – Aadil Ahmad Sheikh of Goriwan, Tanveer Ahmad Bhat of Baba Mohalla and Sartaj Ahmad Lone of nearby Wubzan village – were killed on this day in 2015 in a gunfight with forces in Siligam village of Aishmuqam.
Reports said that all the business establishments in Chinar town and adjoining villages remained closed while movement of traffic was also affected due to the spontaneous shutdown.
