The Jammu and Kashmir meteorological department on Sunday has predicted weather to remain dry till January 20.

An official from the meteorological department said that weather is likely to remain dry till January 20. “The weather conditions would start gradually improving and dry weather would continue for next one week as per the current prediction,” he said.

The Srinagar city has recorded minus 4.3 degree Celsius temperature.

Qazigund has recorded minus 5.0 degree Celsius, Tourist destination Pahalgam has recorded minus 4.8, degree Celsius and ski resort Gulmarg has recorded minus 5, respectively.

The Kokernag area of district Islamabad has recorded minus 2.7 and Kupwara has recorded minus 4.7 degree Celsius, respectively.

The Jammu city has recorded 5.4, degree Celsius; Banihal has recorded minus 0.6, Batote 3.7, Katra 6.4 and Doda 1.6 degree Celsius.

Leh region has recorded minus 15.2 degree Celsius.
