Srinagar
The Srinagar Sonamarg road was thrown open for traffic on Tuesday after remaining closed for nearly four months due to snowfall.
Official sources said that Srinagar-Sonamarg road has been thrown open for light motor vehicles.
The traffic movement will be allowed from 11 am to 3 pm only till further orders and no vehicle would be allowed to move further from Sonamarag.
pertinent to mention, due to heavy snowfall, Zojilla pass remains cut off to normal traffic for nearly four months.
