Srinagar’s Soura locality shuts on third straight day against Eesa’s killing



A shutdown is being observed for a third consecutive day in Soura area of Srinagar on Wednesday against the killing of local militant Eesa Fazili, a resident of Soura locality of Srinagar.

According to reports all the shops and business establishments remained shut in native place of Faziili at Ahmadnagar Soura including Buchpora, Umerhaer, Pandach, Illahibagh, 90ft area and Nagbal areas, adding that a thin traffic movement was witnessed in these areas.

Fazilli along with two other militants was killed during an encounter between militants and government forces on March 12, in south Kashmir’s Hakoora village in Anantnag district on Monday.
