Hundreds of students in Kargil Tuesday held a protest march against the alleged molestation of a Ladakhi medical student in Government Medical College Jammu.

The protesters started from Student Educational Movement Kargil (SEMOK) office and marched through main bazar and culminated at Islamia School Chowk.

The representatives of Imam Khomeini memorial Trust and Islamia School Kargil also take part in the protest march.

The protest concluded with the speech of Gulzar Hussain, the acting president of SEMOK Ladakh.

Speaking on the occasion, he said, “On one hand government fails to provide Ladakh region with a quality higher learning institute and on the other hand its fails to provide security of our students who are studying is various parts of the state”.
