Traffic on the historic Mughal Road, linking Shopian in southern part of Kashmir with Rajouri and Poonch in Pir Panchal region, resumed on Wednesday after remaining suspended for more than 3 days due to snowfall.
Meanwhile, one-way traffic continued on the Srinagar-Jammu highway Highway, connecting Kashmir Valley with rest of the world, and vehicles will ply from Srinagar to Jammu today.
A traffic police official said that traffic on 86-km-long Mughal Road was resumed at 1030 hrs.
“We have allowed vehicles from Rajouri and Poonch to Shopian after the snow was cleared at 1030 hrs,” he said.
