A complete shutdown is being observed for the second consecutive day Saturday in Tral and Awantipora area of Pulwama district of south Kashmir to mourn the killing of two local militants during the gunfight in Balhama area of khunmoh village in Pulwama district.

Rasiq Nabi Bhat alias Owais of Nowdal Tral and Shabir Ahmad Dar of Aghanjipora , Awantipora were killed in the gunfight triggered after they tried to snatch weapons from the guards of a BJP leader at Balhama, police said.

The areas of Tral and Awantipora are observing shutdown on the second consecutive day, reports said.

Reports said all shops and businesses establishments remained closed and traffic was off the roads in Tral town and adjoining areas for the second consecutive day.
