Two-week Research Methodology Course Sponsored By ICSSR concludes at IUST

A Two-Week Research Methodology Workshop for faculty and research scholars, sponsored by Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR) concluded at Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) on Monday.

The spokesman said workshop was jointly organized by Rinchen Shah Centre for West Himalayan Cultures, IUST and Center for International Relations (CIR), IUST.

Dr SonamJoldan, the workshop coordinator, welcomed the guests and participants and stated that the workshop had been organized keeping in mind the extreme importance of quality research. The workshop covered various aspects of research methodology including theoretical concepts, data collection techniques, data analysis besides providing the participants a hands-on experience of statistical research tools.

In his inaugural address on 6^th March, Hon’bleVice Chancellor, Professor Mushtaq A Siddiqi appreciated the two centres for organizing the programme. He encouraged research scholars and faculty members to pursue quality and ethical research. Professor Salam, Dean, School of Humanities and Social Sciences also spoke on the occasion laying emphasis on pioneer research.
