A union team of Health Ministry is proposed to visit Jammu and Kashmir for reviewing the implementation of centre sponsored schemes. The team will also take a stock of the developments of various hospitals.

Sources told KNS that the team will arrive here in next week and visit different areas to monitor the execution of current schemes of Centre.

“The Union Health Minister has himself taken the control of the things and is personally monitoring the health sector in Jammu and Kashmir. The team will also hold separate meetings with the officers of the health department to discuss the developments and different schemes of the health sector,” sources said.

They added that the team will collect inputs on various developments and schemes which have been taken by the central government in Jammu and Kashmir. “It will collect the inputs about the progress made with regard to various centrally-sponsored schemes, besides the proposals of the health sector forwarded by the State will also be discussed,” sources said.
