For the first time in the history of J&K legislature, three youth from jammu identified as Manish Gupta, Sunny Malhotra and Ambetkar Gupta jumped in the house of assembly who were in the public gallery. They jumped into the house even one of them tried to reach the well of the house but was captured by the marshals. All of the three were arrested and put in a room in the assembly complex.
The youth were trying to say something to the house but nobody could hear them. It caused a sort of chaos in the assembly and everybody was taken by surprise.
However, the speaker M A Lone gave a direction to the concerned to provide him all the details about the members who have been issued the entry cards and about the persons who “injured the sanctity” of the house.
Later on, at the end of the question hour, Speaker revealed the identity of the member who had issued passes. He said, “it is very unfortunate that one of the senior members Jagdish Raj Sapholia had issued the passes to the activists of Jammu Kashmir Democratic Front”. Speaker also exhibited the flag of the party which was snatched from the youth who had entered the house.
Speaker Lone immediately directed secretariat of the LA to take action against Sapholia and the sneakers. Sapholia tried to say something to the house but he was not allowed to speak.
