Two persons on Monday sustained injuries after a car they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in Thathri area of Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Reports said that a car bearing registration number JKO2BV-8399 was on its way from Kishtwar to Jammu when the driver lost control over it while negotiating a curve at Kandote nallah and plunged into a 100ft deep gorge at Kandote near Thathri, 30 km from Doda town, resulting into injuries to two persons.

However, the injured were rescued by the locals and both the injured have been shifted to Trauma Hospital Thathri for treatment.
