Strict restrictions are in place in Baramulla on Sunday after army allegedly killed Tahir Rasool Sofi on Tuesday last.
Though the authorities lifted curfew and restrictions from the valley on Saturday, sporadic and spontaneous clashes hit most parts of the north town injuring scores.

“The town is cordoned from all the sides and lanes and by lanes have been closed by concertina wire, we have been virtually made prisoners in our houses,” a local resident Nazir Ahmad  told Kashmir Life.

In Sopore, life has returned to normal on Sunday after clashes and protest demonstrations on Saturday. The shops in the town are open and traffic is plying.

Massive protests were held in Palhalan area on Srinagar Baramulla highway last evening.
