The employees’ joint action committee (EJAC) has called for an emergency session of the committee on October 29, 2013 in which its president Abdul Qayoom Wani will preside over.

“In this emergency session, the strategy regarding the solving of long pending demands of the government employees will be chalked out,” EJAC president, Abdul Qayoom Wani said while talking to a local news agency, GNS.

He added that all state, provincial and district leaders of EJAC are requested to attend this important meeting at any cost.

“State employees are requested to keep their moral and spirit uplifted and wait till JCC announces its next programme,” Wani said.

He said we are committed to our promises and will not bow down to any pressure. “We will not move back till all the pending demands are fulfilled by state government,” Wani added.
