Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman, Syed Ali Geelani and JKLf chairman, Mohammad Yasin Malik have called for a state wide shutdown on Friday, July 19, against the Gole, Ramban incident.
“BSF men desecrated the Quran and beat a local Moulvi Sahab in a mosque compelling people not to participate in the late night Prayers,” Hurriyat (G) spokesman, Ayaz Akbar told Kashmir Life adding that chairman Syed Ali Geelani has appealed people of Jammu and Kashmir to observe complete shutdown on Friday and hold protests against the incident.
JKLF has also called upon people to observe shutdown on Friday.
A spokesman of JKLF said that chairman, Mohammad Yasin Malik will lead a protest in Lal Chowk after the Friday prayers.
