Jammu and Kashmir Peace Foundation Monday said that Human Resources Development Ministry has released Rs 9, 30, 44000 under Prime Ministers Scholarship Scheme for the admission of students of Jammu and Kashmir in different colleges.
Peace Foundation has said that its Chairman Fayaz Ahmed Bhat is going to meet HRD Minister Dr MM Palam Raju on June 6, 2013. While thanking the HRD Ministry for its generous support to the students under Prime Ministers Scholarship Scheme, Peace Foundation has hoped that students will get admissions on the basis of merit and will get benefited from this scheme, reads a statement.
As per a local news agency, CNS, the Peace Foundation has appealed people to make full use of RTI to curb the corruption. The Foundation has appealed all the students living below poverty line to come forward and take full advantages of this scheme.
