SRINAGAR

India and Pakistan again exchanged firing on international border in Jammu and Kashmir Thursday. The latest firing incident took place when Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is visiting Kashmir to celebrate Diwali with the flood victims.

India and Pakistan allege each other after every cross border or cross LoC shelling in Jammu and Kashmir of violating the ceasefire.

Defence sources said that Pakistan Rangers fired at the Narain border post of the Border Security Force at Ramgar in Samba district.

“The Pakistani firing started at 10.30 a.m. and is still continuing intermittently,” they said adding  “The BSF retaliated.”

Over 30,000 residents of border villages in Jammu and Kashmir are still living in relief camps after they fled their homes following exchange of firing between Indian and Pakistani troops that started in the month of October.

The Pakistani military also issued a statement Thursday morning alleging personnel from the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) had resorted to “unprovoked” firing along the working boundary in Sialkot’s Shakargarh and Charwah sectors.

  1. India will only come to terms once Pakistan will make it’s firing power unbearable for India. Basically Indians are very coward but very wicked as usually the coward people are. Hence more than a befitting reply is necessary in Indian’s case.
