In a fitting reply to Pakistan’s anti-India resolution on ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC), the Lok Sabha on Wednesday passed a resolution against the neighboring country and strongly condemned the attacks by the Pakistan Army.
The anti-Pak resolution stated that terrorists are being nurtured on Pakistani soil.
Reading the resolution, Speaker Meira Kumar said, “Jammu and Kashmir, including parts forcibly and illegally occupied by Pakistan, is an integral part of India.”
“We hope Pakistan will abide by the ceasefire commitment on the LoC and international border in letter and spirit,” the Speaker said.
Pertinently, Pakistan’s National Assembly had on Tuesday passed a unanimous resolution condemning what it called the “unprovoked aggression by Indian military forces” on the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir.
Five Indian soldiers were killed when Pakistani troops intruded into the Poonch sector last week.
Both the countries know who are the transgressors but for political millage both are befooling the people.
