Residents in one of the villages of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district were caught in surprise when human skulls were found during excavation.

According to GNS correspondent, some residents of Gulzarpora village were busy in excavation with the help of a JCB near a water body as the recent floods had ravaged destruction in the said village. According to rough estimates, some 93 houses were damaged during the flood.

“During the excavation, we found 5 human skulls,” a resident told GNS, adding some utensils made of mud were also found.  After the news spread, more villagers rushed to the spot to see the skulls. Another resident told GNS that this has created fear among villagers.

Meanwhile, Abdul Rehman, 60, said that he has never seen such thing in his entire life. Many elders of the village shared same views.

The residents said despite being informed, no civil or police officer visited the spot.
