Kashmiri boy shines in Dubai

A Kashmiri boy, Emaad Muzaffar Makhdoomi (17) has been conferred the Top 16th High School Student of the World award in Dubai. Earlier, he had emerged as ‘youth leader’ and had been appointed as the Chief Judge Youth Business Forum Conference, Washington DC, USA 2014.

According to his family sources, Emmad received the award at the 18th Felicitation Ceremony of the Global Student Entrepreneurs held at Dubai Conference Centre.

Emaad Muzaffar has also received a cash award of 30,000 UAE Dirhams for Manav Rachna International School (MREIS) for its remarkable contribution in promoting the cause of young leadership all over the globe. Emaad was also presented with an Apple Mac Book Air and luxury travel sponsorship to Europe. Speaking at the event, Emaad said that he believes that time has come when we realize and recognize the power and ideology of youth, so that they are able to lead the world tomorrow.

Emaad is an alumni of Burn Hall School Srinagar who moved to New Delhi for his high school studies in 2008. In the past also Emaad has won laurels in different parts of the world like United States of America, Germany and New-Zealand.

In a statement issued by the management of MREIS led by Dr Prashant Bhalla, Chancellor and Chairman said that the entire Manav Rachna family joins in celebrating the outstanding performance of Emaad at various International Forums. “He has not only made the school proud, but has also made our country proud. We are extremely proud of having a young aged intellectual like Emaad in our midst. Our endeavor to support him shall always continue,” he said.

Emaad, is a grade XI student of Manav Rachna International School, Gurgaon.
