Authorities on Tuesday morning snapped the internet services in south Kashmir.

The services were snapped soon after the gunfight between militants and government forces started in Larnoo Kokernag village of Islamabad.

The encounter started on Tuesday morning after the government launched a cordon and search operation in Larnoo Kokernag village of district Islamabad after receiving specific intelligence inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

He said the search operation turned into an encounter as the government forces were fired upon by the militants.

Reportedly four militants are believed to be trapped the area.
