The Center for Career Planning & Counseling (CCPC), KU organized a recruitment drive for the youth of J&K at KU campus during which a high level team from IYOGI- a leading provider of tech support services conducted the drive for three days which concluded on Tuesday.

Welcoming the team Prof Talat Ahmad, Vice Chancellor, University of Kashmir said that there is no dearth of talent in the state but the graduates entering job market must possess the required skill sets to be productively employed.

He further emphasized that the youth of Jammu & Kashmir are highly competent and can prove an asset to any organisation.

“The University of Kashmir is working tirelessly to develop a strong interface with the industry aimed at creating new avenues and better opportunities for the youth of Jammu & Kashmir,” said Prof Talat.

Prof. Shabir A Bhat, Director, CCPC, KU said that employment of educated youth has emerged as a major challenge and government alone cannot solve this problem.

He said “It is our collective responsibility and youth should look for avenues beyond government jobs. The corporate world provides lucrative opportunities and the recruitment drives by leading companies like RELIGARE, TCS, Rooman Technologies, Canara Bank, INFOSYS, Bajaj Allianz and Learning Links are lined up in the month of April & May.”

Prof Shabir added that CCPC, KU is putting in all the efforts to provide students with the opportunities to explore new possibilities and opportunities and the youth should take advantage of the employment initiatives taken by the Kashmir University.

The delegates from Iyogi expressed their satisfaction with the talent pool available in the state of Jammu & Kashmir and added that the company has an ambitious target of recruiting over five thousand people in next five years in the state of Jammu & Kashmir.

It is pertinent to mention that over one hundred and fifty candidates have registered for the first phase of recruitment by Iyogi.

  1. I have recived hard copy frm the religare but still i have not got any mail whn we have to lleave fr training programs oths frnds of mine have got it. so plz look into ths matter.
