SRINAGAR
J&K government on Saturday constituted 46 new sub divisions across the state. Of them 15 were created in Kashmir, 26 in Jammu region and the balance five in arid Ladakh region.
Kashmir Life managed an unofficial list of the 46 sub divisions. The government is yet to formally announce the new sub divisions .
The sub divisions created in Kashmir are like this:
1.Dooru
2. Pahalgam
3. Kokernag
4. Sumbal
5. Gulmarg
6. Pattan
7. Beerwa
8. Chadoora
9. Kangan
10. Noorabad
11. Lolab
12. Tral
13. Zainpora
14. Srinagar east
15. Srinagar west
Following places in Jammu region are the new sub divisions:
1. Hiranagar
2. Chatroo
3. Madwa
4. Padar
5. Kotranka
6. Banihal
7. Gool
8. Katra
9. Vijapur
10. Rambagar
11. Thatri
12. Assar
13. Madh
14. Khor
15. Jammu north
16. Jammu south
17. Choki Chora
18. Surankote
19. Kalakote
20. Sunderbani
21. Thanamandi
22. Ramsu
23. Thuroo
24. Gagwal
25. Chenaini
26. Dudu
And in the arid desert of Ladakh, following new sub divisions were created:
1. Sanku
2. Shaker chitkan
3. Durbug
4. Kharu
5. Likir
politics played once again. A stepmotherly behaviour met again with kashmir. But this is also a political trend of gaining people’s favour.
