SRINAGAR

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah after submitting his resignation to Governor N N Vohra said that he is leaving for London to enquire about the health of his parents.

“It is of no use for me to stay in Jammu and Kashmir. I am leaving for London to see my ailing parents,” Omar said.

He also termed PDP and BJP as largest parties emerged after the state elections of 2014.  He said that he has been saying since yesterday it is not the duty of National Conference to form the government nor it is duty of NC to help anyone form the government.

Omar also rejected the reports that any back channel talks are going on between NC and other parties.
