The National Conference Thursday said that the neighboring countries must enter into a sustained dialogue and find a permanent solution to the Kashmir imbroglio which is acceptable to all the stake holders and can lead to a lasting peace in the region but added that the restoration of autonomy continues to be the bed rock of party’s policy and agenda and the only solution that can become a ‘win win’ situation for all.

In a party convention held at Pulwama and Shopian in south Kashmir addressed by Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Sajad Kichloo MOS Home, National Conference Spokesman Tanvir Sadiq and MLC Ali Mohd Dar, the leaders said that people will write the obituary of PDP in 2014 election, adding their lies have been exposed and they will be wiped out by the electorate.

“Autonomy is a constitutionally guaranteed document stamped and passed by the two third majority of state legislature and has all the ingredients to become an ultimate panacea between India and Pakistan” Provincial president Kashmir Nasir Wani said adding “no solution can be reached without the active participation of the National Conference and the day is not far when our aspirations will be fulfilled and autonomy will be restored” he said

“The demand of restoration of Autonomy is not a favour we are asking, its’ something which was snatched from us illegally and we demand what is rightly ours”

Lauding the efforts of the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his commitments Nasir said “We will ensure that south Kashmir is developed and Pulwama and Shopian will again be our strong hold which is evident from the enthusiasm of the workers today” he said amidst loud cheering of the workers adding “our leadership has always worked for rights of common people and the people must also remember the sacrifices of NC leadership and must support the party,” he said.

Lashing out at PDP, Nasir said “they have always only played with the sentiments of the people and are still using the youth as fodder for their narrow political gains. They recent rant is an indication of their frustration and a desperate attempt to sell false dreams to show their existence

“We have announced 80000 vacancies will be filled and will employ our youth no matter what, The whole state is ours and we will do everything to ensure that the grievances of the people are not only addressed but also accommodated in every possible way”

Mos Home Sajad Ahmed Kichloo in his speech said that Right to Information Act, and accountability commission are the real weapons provided by Omar Abdullah led government to common people to fight against menace of corruption. He said that people must also remain vigilant about the policies of opposition parties who always try to weaken NC.

He added that active participation of youths in major political activities is a welcome step and the youth should come forward and take charge. Kichloo said Chief Minister is keen to encourage the youth to shape their own destiny and young men and woman should come forward and help to rebuild the state.

In his speech the NC spokesman Tanvir Sadiq said that the PDP is teetering on the verge of a split and before the parliamentary election are held many of their leaders will desert them.

“PDP will disintegrate before the parliamentary elections and one can easily figure out their desperation to woo their disgruntled members and leaders back by selling false dreams, adding, the damage has already been done” Tanvir Sadiq said adding “This will happen before 2014 elections because of the huge leadership crisis arising inside the party and the failure of their president to put their flock together” “ideological dilemma and lack of leadership are also weighing heavily on their minds” “Our leaders have sacrificed everything to keep Kashmir together and we will always strive to do so” He added.
