Amid PDP president Mehbooba Mufti’s “reluctance” to take oath as CM of J&K, Hindu nationalist BJP’s Secretary General Ram Madhav reached Fairview to condole demise of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
Late Mufti headed J&K coalition government of PDP and BJP since March Ist 2015 up to his death in AIIMS on January 07.
Mehbooba is set to become CM, however, she has shown reluctance to take oath of office, so far.
Sources said that Ram Madhav, along with BJP’s Dr Nirmal Singh, reached Gupkar residence of Muftis around 5 PM to condole the demise.
BJP members are in a meet in Srinagar since this morning and Ram Madhav is set to join them this evening. It is yet to be known whether BJP forwards their letter of support to governor backing bereaved Mehbooba Mufti as next CM.
According to my personal view PDP should sever it’s ties with BJP.because this party his has adversely affects it’s vote bank in valley .what people’s democratic party patron mufti saeed had anticipated prior to the formation of Colaton govt did not happen instead contrary happened to mufti expecting which resulted resentment amoung people of valley.water faith people’s democratic party had gained during its previous rule has vanished .so it is suitable time for this party to sever it’s ties with Bart janti party in order to shield it’s ramnant prestige amoung masses
