RS 100 cr Automatic Rolling Steel Plant at Rangreth In Offing

The Industrial Estate, Ompora is spread over an area of 1008 kanals maintained by J&K SIDCO, the information was given to the District Development Commissioner, Budgam Khurshid Ahmad who along with a team of the officers of industries and district administration inspected the Industrial Estate, Ompora and Rangreth.

The units inspected by DDC included M/S Comfort Polymers which has come up at a cost of Rs 5 crores M/s Himalaya Rolling Mills, an automatic Steel Plant which is coming up at a cost of Rs 100 crores. He also visited M/s Alba Powers Pvt Limited-a manufacturing unit of Distribution Transformers that has come up at a cost of Rs 3 Crores and M/S FIL Industries Limited.

As per a statement the DDC was impressed with the functioning of these units and he has asked the concerned officers to identify all such entrepreneurs who have not so for set up their units despite allotment of industrial plots so that action under.
