State authorities Tuesday ordered change in the school timings within and outside the municipal limits of Srinagar.
Talking to KNS, Director School Education Kashmir Mir Tariq Ali stated that it has been decided by the directorate to change school timings in Srinagar and other areas of valley.
He said that the order has been passed by him wherein all the educational institutions both Government as well as Private have been directed that school timings from October 1 has been changed. Schools located within the municipal limits of Srinagar Municipal Corporation will function from 9.00 a.m to 3.00 P.m and schools located outside the SMC limits will function from 10.00 a.m to 4.00 P.M.
Reports have maintained that the government order has been issued in view of the seasonal change in Kashmir valley.
