A load carrier driver, Riyaz Ahmad Khanday son of Nazir Ahmad, resident of Aang Matipora who was injured in stone pelting at Tik Bagh Mattan, in south Kashmir’s district Islamabad on March 08, passed away in SK institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura, Srinagar.
Riyaz who received serious injuries in his head died after battling for life for three days.
Earlier on March 9, police had alleged that some “miscreants” pelted stones on Riyaz at Tik Bagh.
