Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) men suffered splinter injuries after suspected militants lobbed a grenade towards CRPF party near State Bank of India Islamabad district in south Kashmir.

An official said that grenade was lobbed over a CRPF party deployed at State Bank of India for routine duty at Islamabad, resulting into the injuries of two CRPF men.

However, the injured CRPF men were shifted to the hospital for the treatment.

Meanwhile, forces have cordoned off the area to nab the assailants.
