Violent clashes followed the arrests of three youth in the north town of Kupwara during nocturnal raids. Police and forces used tear smoke shells against the protesters and dozens of vehicles got damaged in the stone pelting incidents which were on at three places of the town when reports last came in.

Police spokesman confirmed Kashmir Life that Kupwara town witnesses stone pelting incidents since morning.
Reports from the town said that police arrested three youth of Malik Mohalla Kupwara. On Saturday morning the town started its normal business till the dozens of relatives of the arrested youth came on road raising slogans against the nocturnal arrests.

In the meantime more and more people joined them compelling police to swung into action. The protesters were chased away who retaliated by pelting stones. This resulted in ding dong battles and shopkeepers had to pull down their shutters. The locals said that the windowpanes of dozens of vehicles got damaged and the town soon presented a deserted look.

    ……… in kupwara town dozens of youths arrested during protesting or in normal situation and also vehicles got damaged in the stone pelting incidents such as Tata Sumo, Maruti’s etc .Forces use also stones , rude language’s etc.Protesters demand release of arrested youth’s.heavy stone pelting…tear gas shelling…people r running towards safe places…it was the situation in kupwara
