SRINAGAR: The slain founder of Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGH) in Kashmir, Zakir Musa has a successor, reports appearing in media said. It is Hameed Lelhari, according to Times of India.

Zakir was killed in an encounter on May 23 in Dadsara village of Tral. The report said that Lelhari had served as Musa’s deputy since July 2017.

The revelations, according to Times of India have come in a new 11-minute video released al-Hurr, the official media wing of AGH. Abu Ubaidah Hafizahullah, the AGH spokesperson is saying in the video that while Lelhari alias Haroon Abbas has replaced Musa, Ghazi Ibrahim Khalid appointed as his deputy.

The newspaper said the Jammu and Kashmir police have confirmed the Lelhari takeover.
