SRINAGAR: Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) invites applications for the post of Junior Research Assistant (JRA) under the project called Jammu and Kashmir Science Technology and Innovation Council (JKSTIC), Department of Science and Technology, Government of JK.
Candidates applying for the post must have a BE/BTech or ME/MTech in a relevant branch of civil engineering with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or not less than 60 percent. Candidates with an MSc degree in geology, geoinformatics, earth sciences, or geography and a minimum CGPA of 7 or not less than 65 percent can also apply.
The selected candidate will work on “Modelling of Sediment Yield and Establishing Sediment Delivery Ratio Relationships in the Upper Jhelum Basin” for approximately 12 months.
Selected candidates will be provided with a stipend of 15,000 INR per month.
