SRINAGAR: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is inviting applications from OBC, EBC, DNT, NT, SNT, and other backward classes of society who need financial assistance to pursue their academic aspirations. The scholarships are being awarded to students under the tagline PRADHAN MANTRI YASHASVI SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME.
The scholarship aims to assist class 9th and class 11th students by providing them with financial assistance ranging from Rs 75,000 to Rs 1,25,000 annually. The application deadline is August 17, 2024.
Aspiring students for the PM Yashasvi Scholarship have to undergo the Yashasvi Entrance Test. Based on the score obtained, shortlisted students will be given the scholarship amount.
To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must be a resident of India and should have acquired more than 60% of marks in their predecessor classes. The family income of the student must not exceed more than 2.5 lakhs.
