The union minister while addressing the party workers at Tourist Reception Center (TRC) Kupwara, as per news agency KNO said that the people of J&K were deprived of political rights only because of Article 370 and 35A and that was due to the dynasty rule since regional parties kept J&K away from the real mainstream and that people too were not aware of the constitutional rights.

He said that DDC elections will send a clear and loud message that the people of J&K are now part of dignity, development, rights, and all that required will be fulfilled by BJP.

“Now is the time BJP will make people feel that the time and atmosphere has changed and they need to look beyond rhetoric,” Naqvi.

Taking a dig at PAGD, the Union Minister said that the PAGD is the “death of dynasty politics in Jammu and Kashmir” and that time has gone and PAGD leaders will try to keep J&K away from development and prosperity.

He said that 890 rules were not applicable in J&K including no reservation for Gujars and Bakerwals and job reservation besides also other schemes from central government but Post-August 05 the funds from the central government are directly utilized unlike in the past.

He said that development with dignity is the way forward  BJP has in J&K. “I assure you that all the problems and challenges people face will be eliminated in the times to come also happiness among the people will prevail,” Naqvi said.

The Union Minister also said that the PAGD has proved to be the “death declaration of destructive democracy in J&K.”

Terming the PAGD a conspiracy by the regional parties including the Congress party, the union minister said that the PAGD have been left irrelevant.

To a question about the continuous detention of few mainstream leaders, he said that a very transparent independent democracy should have been in J&K for a long now but the dynasty rulers have always opposed it. “That’s why the regional parties initially called for a boycott and demanded the restoration of article 370 and 35A,” he said. “All the representatives who need security will be given and has been given to many already.”

To a question about the eviction and demolition drive of Gujjars and Bakerwals in parts of J&K, the minister said that there is a complete constitutional safeguard to the Land, Forest, and wealth in Jammu and Kashmir and no one can touch that.

“No one will force the Gujjar community to leave the forests and who so is living within forests will remain there,” he said.

Reacting over the tweets of former chief ministers of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir the union minister said that no power in the world can destabilize India “be that Pakistan or any of its fathers.”
