SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday arrested a woman along with stolen money in Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
Taking to the micro-blogging platform X, police wrote, “Srinagar Police recovered stolen money amounting to Rs 23,46,000 from the accused, Nusrat Nisar, wife of Nisar Ahmad Kuchay, resident of Barsoo Awantipora.”
“A case under FIR No. 69/2024, sections 454 and 380 of the IPC, is registered at PS Saddar, and the accused has been arrested. Further investigation is ongoing,” reads the post.
