25,000 Kashmiri Migrants to Vote in Anantnag-Rajouri

   

SRINAGAR: Over 25,000 Kashmiri migrants will vote on May 25 in Anantnag-Rajouri constituency, alongside 58 other constituencies across the country, Daily Excelsior reported.

Authorities have arranged voting facilities in Jammu, Udhampur, and NCR Delhi, with 34 Special Polling Booths, including four in NCR Delhi and one in Udhampur.

The highest number, 29 Special Polling Booths, will be set up in Jammu.

Of the 29 Polling Booths in Jammu, eight will be Auxiliary Polling Stations, the highest number established for migrants so far.

Earlier, in Central Kashmir’s Srinagar and NorthKashmir’s Baramulla, three and two Auxiliary Polling Booths were set up, respectively.

Out of the eight Auxiliary Polling Booths, two will be established in Government Middle School Chinore, two in Government Mixed Higher Secondary School Muthi, two in Jagti township, and one each in Agriculture Complex Udheywala Bohri and Anuradha Higher Secondary School, Barnai.
