SRINAGAR: An elderly tourist passed away after losing consciousness in the Pahalgam area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday.
An official informed that a domestic tourist identified as Paraji Sase, son of Genu Sase and resident of Ahmadnagar Savedi Road, Maharashtra, lost consciousness at a hotel in Yanner, Pahalgam.
He was shifted to SDH Seer for treatment, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, further proceedings in this matter have been initiated. (KS)
