SRINAGAR: An Army soldier committed suicide by using his service rifle in the forward area of Gurez sector in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday.
Reports that the army soldier identified as Raju Karajagi, a resident of Bijapur, Karnataka committed suicide by shooting himself with his own service rifle inside the unit in Buruab area of Gurez sector.
The reason behind the soldier taking this extreme step was not immediately known, sources added.
