SRINAGAR: The French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs invites applications for a fully funded scholarship for international candidates who wish to pursue a Master’s or PhD in 2025, called the “Eiffel French Government Scholarship.”
Candidates who have completed their secondary education are eligible to apply for the Master’s program, while those who have completed their graduation are eligible for the PhD program. Candidates must be between the ages of 30 and 35.
The IELTS/TOEFL is not required for the scholarship. The duration of the scholarship is two years for Master’s candidates and three years for PhD candidates.
Admission is available in the fields of Engineering Science, Exact Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Nano- and Biotechnology, Earth Sciences, Sciences of the Universe, Environmental Sciences, Information and Communication Science and Technology, Economics and Management, Law, and Political Sciences.
Master’s students will receive a monthly allowance of 1031 euros (93,336 INR) and a monthly grant of 150 euros (13,579 INR). PhD students will receive an allowance of 1400 euros (126,733 INR) and a nominal monthly grant. Candidates will also receive a round-trip plane ticket and a housing allowance.
The application process will begin in October 2024 and will continue for more than a month.
