SRINAGAR: A Hizbul Mujahideen militant was apprehended by a joint team of forces in Handwara area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday.
A top police officer said that a joint team of security forces claimed to have arrested a Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militant from Kacrhi village of Handwara on Monday.
He said that the arrested militant was tasked with soft killings identified as Zakir Hamid Mir of Kachri, Yaroo has been apprehended.
Meanwhile police have started investigation in this regard.
