SRINAGAR: A head constable of the Border Security Force (BSF) stationed on election duty in the Kunzer area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district passed away due to a heart attack on Wednesday late evening.
Reliable sources said that the deceased head constable, identified as Brahandev Ram from 185 Bn BSF B-Coy, was on duty at the Higher Secondary School Kunzar in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district when he suffered a heart attack.
They said that immediate medical assistance was provided, and he was swiftly shifted to a nearby hospital from where he was referred to JVC Srinagar.
However, the doctors at JVC Srinagar declared him brought dead upon arrival. Further investigation has been initiated. (KS)
