SRINAGAR: Dr Siraj ud Din Ahmad, a well-known city paediatrician lost his best half, Mrs Rifat Qureshi in the early hours on May 25, 2024, at their son’s residence in Noida. Mrs Rifat had retired as CDPO Budgam from the Social Welfare Department.
Rifat has been battling with some medical issues for some time now. The body is being driven home and is likely to reach Srinagar by around midnight.
She is survived by her husband, son and daughter.
Dr Siraj lives at Shah e Hamadan Colony, Naikbagh Nowgam (Near FEI School). Post-retirement as Medical Superintendent JLNM Rainawari, Dr Siraj was engaged in practice at his clinic in Srinagar.
