Snowfall in Kashmir has always attracted the kids to rejoice the heavenly fall. At the first fall, people are usually seen busy in either recreational snow fights or making a snowman. This cult of snowman follows the same old procedure of shaping the snow into fatty guy wearing a woolen cap and scarf, with two coal pieces as two eyes and a carrot serving the purpose of nose. But a new trend is growing in Kashmir in which young Kashmiris make snow sculptures other than a snowman. As an example Amir Majid Bhat has tried his hands over the making of a beautiful snow shark that consumed him two hours in the bitter cold outside.
Aamir is currently pursuing B.E in Electronics from SSM Engineering College, Pattan.
