SRINAGAR: The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is inviting online applications for its Internship Programme 2024. This opportunity is targeted at youth keen to add fresh perspectives and advanced studies experiences to FAO’s focus areas.
The FAO Internship Programme offers three to eleven months of paid internship with a $700 monthly stipend. Interns will have the opportunity to work on projects that support the FAO Strategic Objectives and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), gaining valuable experience and enhancing their academic knowledge. Although there is no stated deadline for applications, early submission is advised.
Eligibility requirements include proficiency in one of the official languages of the FAO (English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, or Russian) and enrollment in or recent graduation from an accredited undergraduate or graduate programme. Candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 30. Note: Before beginning the internship, applicants must have the proper immigration or residency status in the host nation.
