SRINAGAR: Mohamad Amin Bhat, the President of Kashmir’s literary organization Adbi Markaz Kamraz, is grieving the passing of his father, Haji Abdul Majied Bhat, who was a nonagenarian. Haji Abdul Majied Bhat departed from this world after a brief illness Friday morning.
Bhat was admitted to the GMC Baramulla where he passed away.
The funeral prayers for Haji Abdul Majied Bhat were conducted following the Zuhur prayers at Eid Gah Qadeem in Baramulla. Friends, family, and well-wishers gathered to pay their respects to the departed soul. Soon after, he was laid to rest, marking the end of his earthly journey. Poets, writers, scribes and professionals associated with visual arts also attended the funeral.
