Police on Tuesday late evening recovered the car which was hijacked by suspected militants in Pulwama.
Police said one Muhammad Rafiq Dar of Samboora Pampore approached Pulwama Police station and informed cops about hijacking of his Alto vehicle by five gunmen at Gudoora Pulwa
Subsequently, Police registered a case and sounded an alert. Massive searches were launched by security agencies to recover the car amidst high alert in southern parts of Kashmir.
Police officials told Kashmir Life that they recovered the car from Naman village of Kakapora late Tuesday evening.
Police has taken the car into custody and further investigation is on.
