Clashes erupt between the youth and the government forces in Pulwama district on Wednesday amid complete shutdown against the death of a third youth in Ganawpora area of district Shopian by government forces.
Reports said that clashes erupted in the town after some youth raised slogans and pelted stones on police deployed in the town.
The forces fired dozens of tear gas shells to disperse the youth. However, witnesses said, the youth were re-grouping themselves and engaging forces in clashes.
Earlier Rayees Ahmad Ganai of Narpora Shopian succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS, Soura. Rayees was injured in army firing incident in Ganowpora Shopian on January 27.
