SRINAGAR
One person died while three others were injured in different road accidents across the valley, police spokesperson said on Saturday.
A truck bearing registration number JK02AG/6290 hit a motorcycle at Charsoo, Awantipora, resulting in on spot death of motorcyclist Shabir Ahmad Malik son of Mohammad Sidiq resident of Nagrota, Jammu. Awantipora police has registered a case in this regard.
In another case an unknown vehicle hit and injured a pedestrian Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Rashid resident of Malangam at Onagam, Bandipora. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Bandipora for treatment. Bandipora police has registered a case in this regard.
A Scorpio vehicle bearing registration number JK14A/7191 hit and injured a boy Shariq Ahmad Malla son of Nazir Ahmad Malla resident of Bicherwari at Muqam, Handwara. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Handwara police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, an unknown motorcycle hit and injured a lady Habla Begum wife of Mahmood Shah resident of Larigam, Tral near Sumo Stand Lal Chowk. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Kothibagh police has registered a case in this regard.
