SRINAGAR
One person died and five others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
According to police spokesman, a motorcyclist Abdul Gani Lone, resident of Batkote hit and injured a pedestrian three year old Seerat Jan resident of Moura Pahalgam near Moura, Islamabad. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment, where she succumbed her injuries. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tata mobile bearing registration number JK03C/7097 collided with a load carrier bearing registration number JK03C/6389 at Poshkreeri, Islamabad, resulting in injuries to two persons Ali Mohammad Bhat and Sabzar Ahmad Parray residents of Semthan Bijbehara. Injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A motorcycle without registration number rammed into a tree at Nillow, Kulgam, in the jurisdiction of police station Kulgam, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Ajaz Ahmad Thoker and Shiraz Ahmad Thoker sons of Abdul Rehman residents of Shokeria Hermain, Shopian. Both the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
In another incident an Eco sports vehicle bearing registration number JK01U/4999 collided with an A-Star vehicle bearing registration number DL9CUL/5684 at Sanathnagar, Srinagar, resulting in injuries to driver of A-Star Nazir Ahmad Naqash resident of Nishat Srinagar. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
