One person died and six other were injured in different road accidents across the valley, police said on Sunday.
A tractor bearing chasis number 61618964239 collided with a Maruti car bearing registration number Jk03/8431 near Halmulah, resulting in on spot death of Maruti driver Nazir Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Hamid resident of Pushwara, Khanibal. The body of deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
Meanwhile, a motorcycle bearing registration number Jk01G-0861 collided with another motorcycle bearing registration number Jk05C-6648 near Panzipora, Sopore, resulting in injuries to five persons, riding on these motorcycles. All the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
In another accident, a tractor bearing registration number JK13-8342 turned turtle near Humhana, Nagbal, resulting in injuries to Tractor Driver Waseem Ahmad Khan son of Ghulam Ahmad Khan resident of Dumbani, Shopian. The injured was shifted to SKIMS, Srinagar for treatment.
However police has informed that they have registered cases in all these accidents.
